School of Management and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD)

The School of Management and Engineering Vaud (Haute École d’Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud, HEIG-VD) is the largest partner institution of the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO). It offers Bachelor’s- and Master’s-level UAS courses, as well as continuing education courses (CAS, DAS, MAS and EMBA). Located in Yverdon-les-Bains, at three sites – Route de Cheseaux, Centre St-Roch, and Y-PARC – the HEIG-VD offers nine UAS Bachelor’s degree programmes in engineering and business administration in three different formats: full-time, part-time, and on-the-job.

The degree programmes offered at HEIG-VD are: Energy and Environmental Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Microengineering; Systems Engineering; Engineering and Management; Computer Science and Telecommunications; Geomatics; Media Engineering,  and Business Engineering. HEIG-VD also participates in the HES-SO Master’s courses in the fields of Engineering and Business Administration. Thanks to its strong commitment to Applied Research and Development and to addressing transdisciplinary issues, it is a partner of choice in the business and industry world. In the spirit of UAS policy, it places particular importance on the transfer of technology and knowledge between the university and the business world, thus promoting interaction and skills-sharing in a concrete manner through joint projects.
